The technical terms you may be asked about when setting up your sensor network, and what each one means. Confirming and sharing these values in advance helps the installation go smoothly.

If the store router's LAN ports are all in use, we handle it one of two ways:
If our PoE HUB can be used: we temporarily unplug the LAN cable from a laptop or multifunction printer at the store router, and connect our PoE HUB instead.
If our PoE HUB can't be used: during the connection and function check, we temporarily unplug the LAN cable from a laptop or multifunction printer at the store's existing HUB. After the check, we reconnect that device and leave with the measurement system's LAN cable unplugged. Once you arrange an open LAN port, we'll ask for your help connecting the measurement system's LAN cable.
