Re:ID Support
*What is Re:ID? Re:ID is image processing that assigns an ID to a person so that the same person, identified across multiple cameras or within the same measurement view using features like appearance, build, and clothing, can be excluded from duplicate counting.
The camera captures multiple images of visitors and assigns a Re:ID.
If the visitor is a customer, traffic count increases when they cross the count line within the measurement range.
*If the same visitor crosses the count line multiple times, Re:ID is used to exclude the duplicate count.
If the visitor is a staff member, they are excluded from the traffic count when they cross the count line.
*Crossing the count line 3+ times, or staying in the store 6+ hours, will also result in exclusion as staff. This definition cannot be customized.
Age group and gender are calculated using the appearance, build, clothing, and other features of anyone counted under the traffic definition.
Dwell time is calculated based on count-line entries/exits for anyone counted under the traffic definition, using their appearance, build, clothing, and other features.
