Log what's happening in your store — campaign reactions, customer behaviour, on-floor observations — so your team always understands the story behind the data.
Memos are notes you can add from anywhere in the app to record what's happening day to day. They're shared with your team and build up over time into a useful operational log.
The data shows you what happened. Memos explain why. A sales spike, a conversion dip, a quieter than expected week — the numbers alone don't tell the full story. Memos capture the context that only you have: the campaign that drove the result, the stock situation that caused the drop, the customer reaction you saw on the floor.
You can also add a memo from below a chart to give context to a specific data movement — but memos aren't tied to data. They work just as well as a standalone note logged in the moment, from wherever you are in the app.
Explain what's driving your numbers to your team and to HQ
Record campaign and product reactions while they're fresh
Capture what you see on the floor — context no chart can show
Build a record you can refer back to when planning future activity
When a campaign or limited product goes live
When you notice a strong or unexpected customer reaction
When staffing, display changes, or stock levels are affecting performance
At the start and end of key trading periods like Golden Week
Shibuya Flagship Campaign
GW limited collection launched today. Strong interest from open — customers asking for it by name. Gift purchasing is the clear driver. Watching sell-through on the top SKU closely.
Shinjuku Store Inventory
Limited edition sold through by day 3 — faster than expected. Redirecting customers to online. Would recommend deeper initial stock next year.
Osaka Store Merchandising
Moved the collab display to the entrance ahead of the long weekend. Noticeable difference — customers stopping before they even come in fully. Conversion up this morning.
Ginza Store External Event
Quieter mid-week despite the holiday. Weekend profile very different from weekday — gift purchases dropped off. Recovered strongly on Friday.
Harajuku Store Staffing
Brought in additional staff for the weekend. Wait times down, floor team more available. Customer feedback noticeably positive. Same approach for the final push.
Store Manager Campaign
Quiet day.
Opening the Memo Panel
Tap the Memos button at the top of the screen — it's available from anywhere in the app
The memo panel will open on the right side of your screen
Any existing memos will be listed here
Adding a New Memo
Tap the + button in the top right of the memo panel
Write your note — what's happening, how customers are responding, what to watch
Select the tag that best fits your memo (e.g. Campaign, Inventory, External Event)
Tap Save. Your memo is now visible to your team
The best memos are written in the moment — while you're on the floor and the detail is fresh. Even a few sentences is enough.
Editing or Deleting a Memo Tap any memo to open it. You can edit the text or delete it entirely. Only the person who created the memo can edit or delete it.
Campaign — promotions, offers, and marketing activity
Product — new launches, limited editions, collab items
Pricing — price changes or competitive pricing observations
Inventory — stock levels, sell-through, restocking
Merchandising — display changes, floor layout, visual updates
Staffing — team size, coverage, part-time additions
Operations — store processes, opening hours, equipment
System / Tech — technical issues affecting operations
Environment — weather, building works, access issues
External Event — holidays, local events, footfall drivers
Write in the moment — context fades quickly after a busy day
Focus on customer reaction and floor observations, not just what happened
Short memos are fine — a single sentence is better than nothing
Use consistent tags so your team can filter and find memos easily
During key trading periods, log at the start and end of the week
