The following is an introduction to the meaning of the term and related KPIs for the number of customers passing through the aisle in front of a store.
Passersby represents the number of customers who pass through the aisle in front of the store. Synonymous with storefront passersby and Passers by.
Passersby is one of the KPIs that make up Traffic. It's used when investigating the factors behind an increase or decrease in Traffic.
Passersby is difficult to evaluate on its own — the appropriate level varies greatly depending on the facility or area a store opens in, as well as changes in the external environment such as business confidence and disasters. Instead, evaluate it using Capture Rate, which is calculated from Passersby and Traffic together.
