This explains the meaning and structure of Facade Rate, a KPI related to changes in the number of customers who stop by.
Facade Rate is a metric showing what percentage of customers passing in front of the store stopped in the facade area. Synonymous with Stop Rate.
Facade Rate is made up of two KPIs:
The number of customers who passed in front of the store (= Passersby)
The number of customers who stopped in the facade area (= Facade Stop)
Since Facade Rate represents what percentage of passersby stopped in the facade area, it's expressed as a percentage.

Formula: Facade Rate (%) = Facade Stop ÷ Passersby × 100
Why it matters
Facade Rate is a useful metric for verifying the effectiveness of things like facade-area VMD changes, events, or POP displays.
